Come to the Valentine Sweetheart dinner and dance! Enjoy a fine dinner of chicken cordon bleu
at 5:30pm, and then dance away the evening to live music by "Gone Country." Make your
reservations in the Canteen -- donations are $10.00 per person, or $18.00 per couple.

Challenge For A Buck - by Jr. Vice Commander Dominick Damore:
As your Membership Chairman, it's likely you'll find me a bit of a challenge. I will
probably show you TWO blank membership applications and challenge you to show me just one.
Don't have one on your person? Oh well, I'll sell you my extra for a buck. Of course,
the dollar will go into the nearest money container...the umberella over the canteen bar
or the nearest Buddy Poppy can. Of course, fair is fair...if you have a blank app on your
person, I'll give you a buck to put in the nearest post receptacle. And don't be surprised
if the Officer of the Day at our meetings challenges you or some other comrade in the
canteen or some other meeting. Be ready for us, comrades!

Officers and Annual Members:
By the time you read this it may already be TOO LATE for some of you...Your Annual
Membership has lapsed. If you are an elected or appointed officer, you have until the
first General Membership Meeting of 2012 to reinstate for a cost of $33, a new application
and DD Form 214, otherwise, there will be no option but to declare your position vacant.
All other lapsed memberships will require the same Reinstatement cost and application in
order to keep our post at 100%. Please don't delay!
